Hi Loius,

that's cool - thanks for sharing :) Does everything now work pretty much as you would hope using the flip flat and the sequencer?

cheers,

Robin

Hello
It works, it's not ideal, but it should allow a certain automatism
The constraint is to first connect Altinak with the Windows application, then launch the sequence

Hello
Optec confirms to me that the ASCOM driver exists, so you should be able to access it

Hi,

Ah, it's a cover calibrator driver. SharpCap doesn't support those yet, but I should be able to add support in the future. Right now I have a busy month coming up with an Astro show to attend and a talk to give, but after that I will have a look at adding support.

cheers,

Robin

Hi,

just to give an update - I have borrowed a motorized flat panel from my friends at Altair Astro and have made some good progress on implementing the code required in SharpCap to control the panel and use it automatically in certain actions (create flat, etc). This should all work for any motorized panel with an ASCOM driver, so should be fine for the Altinak Flip-Flat.

I'm not including these changes in released versions of SharpCap at the moment as I don't want to run the risk of breaking things in the run up to the eclipse - I hope to have the changes ready to be released in maybe 2 weeks time.

thanks,

Robin
