Re: Cannot Slew with SynScan
Hi,
I know that the synscan app is prone to glitches now and then, but it usually works pretty well for most people. I suspect it might be a Synscan app/ASCOM driver configuration issue, but I'm not sure what...
Some things to check
* when you connect the mount, does it show the co-ordinates that are being pointed at in SharpCap (see https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.1/#GOTO%20Mount%20Control). Do the co-ordinates update if you move the mount with the handset?
* Does parking do anything? Does unparking again do anything?
* Can you control the mount using other software via the sysncan ASCOM driver?
* When the mount is connected, can you select the Tools->Goto Catalog Target/Co-ordinates menu item in SharpCap?
cheers,
Robin
