Hi
I have been using SharpCap plate solving successfully and very happy with it.
I have several telescopes and the possibility of not entering the focal length every time is very convenient. SharpCap resolves stars very quickly and that's wonderful.
However, if I do not write the focal length of the telescope, in the header of the FIT file saved in live stacking, this is not written in the file and is instead important information that I would like to keep; the Key FOCALLEN is missing in FIT Header
The request is the following: is it possible for SharpCap to independently calculate the focal length of the telescope and write it in the FIT header?
Thanks as always for your kindness and availability
Carlo

Re: Key FOCALLEN is missing in FIT Header
Hi Carlo,
that makes sense - taking the result from the plate solve and using it if available. I already have a note to show the focal length calculated from the plate solve in the results, so it would tie in nicely.
cheers,
Robin
