I have been using Sharpcap's focus assistant tools for a couple of months. I have never seen the v-curve.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Re: I never get the Vcurve while running Focus Assistant
Hi,
could you share a screenshot of what you do see, along with some more info about your setup (camera, telescope, etc). The curve tends to show best at shorter focal lengths and can be harder to spot due to random fluctuations as the focal length gets longer - this may mean you need to set it up to take more samples at each position. Additionally, it's important to scan a big enough range of values to be sure of starting one side of focus, moving through best focus and coming out the other.
cheers,
Robin
