I am new to astrophotography.
I downloaded sharpcap just a week back. So it is latest so version.
I was using it with Celestron 9.25 evolution, hyperstar v4 and zwo asi533mc pro. In the middle of my session sharpcap stopped showing live view. I restarted sharpcap , rebooted my laptop and also reset sharpcap settings. It works for sometime and then stops again.
Any clues ?

Hi,
if the rest of SharpCap is still working (menus work, etc) then you are most likely having intermittent problems with image data getting from the camera to the PC - that can often be down to USB cabling issues and we have a page with a range of things to try to improve this issue : viewtopic.php?f=18&t=349&p=1556#p1556
It may also be worth showing the SharpCap log to see if any information gets recorded in the log when the problem happens - this info would help understand the cause.
If SharpCap is locking up completely (menus will not work, etc) then we have to look at a different set of possibilities - again the log may contain useful information.

Thank you ! I will try changing the cable in the next session ..
I don’t think it is a camera issue as I don’t get this problem on NINA.
Will send the logs if problem persists ..
