DC Power to QHY 174

Am I right that the QHY 174 GPS M does not need an exterior DC power source to operate? That the power is only for the cooler?

Hi,

yes, you are correct, the camera and GPS can run without external 12V power. However the cooler does need it, as does the connected filter wheel if you use that feature.
