Hello,
With Sequence Planner / Advanced Edit, is there a way to create a master dark WITHOUT use after ?
In "Processing menu" we have :"Capture x dark frames to create (and use) a master dark"
so I would like Without use.
It is to create many sequences for library master dark.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

there is currently no way to disable auto-use of the new dark when using the sequence editor, but you can either ignore it or work around it.

Ignoring it should be OK, since when you ask it to create the next dark it should disable the selected dark frame (it's smart enough to know that you don't create a dark with another dark being applied).

The other approach would be to use a 'Set <Control Name> to <Control Value>' step to reset 'subtact dark' to 'None' after each capture.

cheers,

Robin

Hi Robin,

It's perfect, both solutions work very well. And then Set <Control Name> has a great wealth of controls, it's fabulous!
I'm satisfied :)
Thanks Robin

Hi,

excellent :)

the 'Set <Control Name>' step is the fallback if you need to adjust a control that doesn't have a specific step (exposure, gain, etc have specific steps).

cheers,
