SC stopped remembering location
I have been using SC 4 years and suddenly I have to input my last/long every time I star Sharpcap in order to connect to the mount (along with COM baud rate etc etc. How do I get it to remember these?

Hi,
those details should be remembered by the ASCOM driver for the mount, rather than SharpCap. Have you updated or changed that recently?
thanks,
Robin

In that case, it could be
One from Skywatcher, which might be labelled 'Synscan' or 'Skywatcher'
or...
EQMOD which looks a bit like this :
is that any help identifying it?
cheers,
Robin

I go in the EQMOD driver set up each time I use it to add lat/long height asl baud rate etc etc which I have never had to do before.

Re: SC stopped remembering location
Hi,
EQMOD should remember all of those things for you, rather than having to enter them every time.
I would suggest it might be a good idea to uninstall and then reinstall EQMOD to see if that fixes the problem. The latest versions can be downloaded here
https://sourceforge.net/projects/eq-mod/files/EQASCOM/
cheers,
Robin
