I have a ASI678MC connected to a PC on W.11. when I start sharpcap, the camera is detected but when i start,it I have a error message/
An error occured while starting your ZWO ASI 678MC...... ErrorGeneralError from call to AsiInitCamera.
I have already updated the firmware from ZWO , but I don't find the soluce...
some help??

Hi,
check you have the latest version of SharpCap, since older versions may not be compatible with the latest ZWO camera models. I can also see that ZWO have just released a new update of their software, which I haven't included in SharpCap yet. I will try to get that into an update of SharpCap 4.1 in the next week or so.
Another approach is to treat the issue as a possible USB connection issue, and to try different USB cables, USB ports and a different PC if possible. Certainly the symptom of the camera being detected but not connecting can be caused by USB issues. See viewtopic.php?f=18&t=349&p=1556#p1556 for more suggestions.
