Adding Flip option in Folder Monitor Camera

#1

Post by Menno555 »

Hi Robin

A suggestion to add the "Flip option" that is there while capturing, also in the Folder Monitor Camera under Camera Control?
Now it is showing a capture as it is, meaning that for example the capture is shown in North = Up and East is Right.
Personally I use the Folder Monitor Camera rather a lot for checking afterwards, including Annotation, and a Flip option would be nice then.
And I can think of a few more scenarios when it's useful there.

Hi Menno,

there is now a new 'Flip' option for all cameras in the 'Preprocessing' section. The nice thing about the one in preprocessing is that SharpCap does the flip *AFTER* dark and flat correction (if those are enabled), meaning that you can flip the image but don't need to have corresponding flipped calibration frames :)

Note that this is SC 4.1 only...

cheers,

Robin

Found it Robin.
I sometimes loose track of the new and/or altered features you do. Great job!

cheers,
