QHY678M Sensor Analysis

Today I got my new QHY 678M. I did a sensor analyses and discovered some strange things.
The 8bit results are attached, doing the analyses in 16 Bit was not possible.

Can anyone explain that behaviour?

Hi,

several things are odd there

1) The e/ADU and full well values are very low - I suspect that there is some sort of digital brightness boosting going on in addition to the normal gain - this might result from controls like gamma being not at their default value

2) Something odd happens beyond gain 120 - the measured brightness seems to drop. This can be caused by illumination levels changing during the final phases of the measurement or possibly something odd with the way the gain behaves on this camera

I am not sure about the negative read noise and 'NaN' values in the last three rows, but I think best not to worry about those yet while there are more obvious issues like the two points above to work out.

For the 16 bit, what stopped the analysis? Did you get a specific error?
