How to change mounts in Sharpcap?
I have recently got a new mount (the AM5) and have not been able to figure out how to get Sharpcap to stop trying to connect to my old HEQ5-Pro. I have downloaded the ASCOM driver and have tried to connect via EQMOD (without success, despite having checked what my COM port is). I am not all that familiar with the Windows environment, so it might be that I'm simply missing something that would be obvious if I were not a Mac user....

Hi,
if you have installed the ASCOM driver for your new mount, then it should simply be a case of going to the 'Hardware' settings in SharpCap and changing the selected mount from the HEQ5 to the AM5. See https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.0/#Hardware%20Tab
