I am now managing to capture images with the above camera. They seem to not be in colour. Should I be choosing a colour space of some kind such as RGGB somewhere in Sharpcap before capturing images. I am finding this very confusing.
Thank you

Re: Colour images from my 183c camera in Sharpcap pro
Hi,
SharpCap will usually default to capturing images from your camera in RAW mode. If the camera is fully supported by SharpCap then they will appear on screen in SharpCap in colour, but if you look at the saved files, they will appear as monochrome. If you look closely you will see a fine grid at the pixel level - this is the colour information stored in the different brightnesses of neighbouring pixels. You need to tell the viewing program to apply a procedure called 'debayering' to get the colour back, which may require you to enter a pattern like RGGB.

cheers,
