Has anyone been able to use the Polar Alignment routing with the Planewave L-series mounts?
The mount connects, but when it comes time to use the PA routing it tells me that it can't be done with this mount.
So if anyone has been able to get it to work, i'd love to know how you did it.
thanks,
Mark

Re: Polar Align with Planewave L-350
Hi Mark,
were you trying to use the direction arrows in SharpCap to turn the mount from the first position to the second? Some mount ASCOM drivers do not implement the 'MoveAxis' command that SharpCap uses to implement those buttons sadly.
If the mount has its own control panel or handset, that may give you the ability to rotate in RA, rather than doing it in SharpCap. Alternatively you can unlock the RA clutch and spin the mount manually.
cheers,
Robin
