Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Using the ZWO 074 camera to image the Sun i was successful in recording 2000 avi frames which were played back without error in SharpCap.
However, the file is highly distorted when accessed in AS3 or Registax. The PIPP file is also distorted.
In one instance is received " unable to ...."
I have never encountered such an issue.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
it's not something I have seen before (or at least I don't think I have). Could you post a screenshot showing the distortion (and ideally, if you can share one of the problem files via Google Drive, DropBox or OneDrive etc, I could take a closer look).
