Which version of SharpCap are you using?
And could you share the logfile of the session where that happend? You can find the log at C:\Users\*YourUsername*\AppData\Local\SharpCap\logs\

as Menno says, please let us know the version you are using. Also, if it crashes with some sort of error message then please post details of the error message.
If the program is just vanishing without any error showing, then it may be worth considering whether interference from an antivirus program is causing the problem. Antivirus often likes to interfere when an application accesses files or folders, so the attempted launch of the capture folder may be triggering it to intervene in an odd way.
