Like the title says. Got bored (and somewhat frustrated) with the endless cloudy nights here
So started to do some fun things with mixing objects in 1 image in Photoshop. This was such fun and looked cool, that I decided to make a complicated (but totally unscientific) version.
It has 11 objects in it: M13, IC 349 - Merope's Ghost, Abell 1656 Coma Cluster, NGC 6888 Crescent Nebula, Cygnus Wall, NGC 5394/5 Heron Galaxy, M106, NGC 891 Silver Sliver Galaxy, NGC 2146, NGC 3718 / ARP 214 and NGC 3079.

Very nice, somehow has the look of 'fantasy SciFi' artwork - all you need now is a flying unicorn in the foreground to complete the look

Indeed the sfi-fi look was a bit I was going for. But a unicorn? No, that's just wrong.
A huge Xenomorph would be more fitting then

You did very well there hiding the joins although perhaps you should have hidden the list of objects and run an online competition to guess the constituent objects ?

With Atlantic weather systems passing through there have been the odd dark clear interludes between rain showers here. However you have to get the timing exactly right or run the expensive risk of getting very wet and ruined equipment.

I'm on the other side of the pond from you. Thanks to some powerful high pressure systems over North America those Atlantic storms have been aggressively pushed eastward. Clear nights are increasingly plentiful here in the Northeast U.S.
