Hi,
Really enjoying using my script to capture, live stack and save followed by dither guiding, and continue onward. Being able to set the camera controls, reset histogram, etc is very nice.
When nites when my script is running I can select the Live stack window and click on the FWMH and Brightness tab. Other times when running the same script I cannot. Normally I first have live stack running, then open and run the script (which adjusts all parameters as I specified).
So what is the proper steps to initiate a working script that live stacks? And I want to be able to select the live stack window to check on FMWH and Brightness tabs while the script is running. I have not seen this described in the PDF user manual.
Many thanks,
Roger

Re: Accessing Live Stack window when script running
Hi Roger,
do you think you could share your script please? Without seeing what it is doing, it's hard for me to know why you cannot access live stacking. One possibility is that live stacking is (deliberately) locked out when SharpCap is capturing video or still images.
cheers,
Robin

Hi Robin,
I want to clarify my English. I can Live Stack, but I sometimes cannot use the Filters (FWHM & Brightness) or other things in the Live Stacking window at the bottom.
Attached is my script.

Re: Accessing Live Stack window when script running
This is my current screen when the script is running. The Live Stacking window at bottom cannot touch with mouse.
Previously it is possible I 'thought' my script was running, but it was not, so I could access the Live Stacking window.
I just want to know if I should expect the window accessible when the script is running, or not.
Roger

Re: Accessing Live Stack window when script running
Hi,
the fact that you cannot manipulate live stacking (or the camera controls/menus for that matter) while the sequence is running is deliberate - it stops you from clicking the wrong thing and messing up a long running sequence.
However, there is a special block in the sequencer that unlocks the controls (and may also unlock the live stacking panel) while it is active - you can put the content of your sequence inside one of these blocks, but of course you then have to take responsibility for not doing anything manually that conflicts with the sequencer.
Look for the block 'Unlock SharpCap Camera controls while running these steps'.
cheers,
Robin

You are amazing. Thank you.
I will only monitor the filters in Live Stacking, not play around with any conflicting adjustments.
