Sequence Editor Plate solve a single frame

In the sequence editor I'm confused about how the command: "Plate solve a single frame, sync the mount and re-GOTO the target co-ordinates" actually gets its information about the target co-ordinate. Do I need to tell SharpCap the target co-ordinates by entering RA DEC or Alt/Az prior to using the plate solve command?
Thanks for clarifying

Hi,
it will treat the co-ordinates the mount is pointing to before the step as being the 'target', so yes, command the mount to move to your target (say M81). Maybe it ends up pointing straight at it, or maybe a degree or two off. The plate solve/sync/recenter step should correct that and leave the target centered in view.
cheers,

Thanks - this helps. I'm struggling a bit with an Alt/Az mount (TTS-160), with an OTA rotator that's currently not perfectly concentric with the camera and OAG. My current sequence of a platesolve and goto triggers a rewind of the OTA rotator, which I follow by a command in SharpCap to rewind the camera rotator to correct for field rotation and restore the angular view of the starting sesssion. After I moved to a 9.25" SCT with a smaller FOV this is not working so well, and I end up with a different angle for each group of subs, so that when I stack them I loose data at the corners.
My next goal is to better shim the OTA so that it's rotator is concentric with the camera ...
