Combining images

I took 10x1 min exposures in sharpcap from live stacking 60s exposures. When I went to combine them into a single 10 min image I had to take them out of there folders, as each one was in its own folder, put them all into a single folder and rename them, as they all had the same name and extension, before I could combine them. This is laborious process especially if it involved dozens of images. Am I missing some function in sharpcap that saves them to a single folder and can have these ready for combining without having it to do what I did?
Advice needed.

Hi,

there are lots of options to arrange how the files and folders are named when you capture - see the 'Filenames' page of the settings and also the documentation here : https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.0/#Filenames%20Tab

To some extent the naming may also depend on how you do the capturing - for instance, if you do 'Start Capture' then choose 'Single Frame' and repeat that 10 times, then you will get 10 separate folders, but if you do 'Start Capture' and then choose to capture 10 frames you will get 10 files in the same folder. Similarly, pressing the 'Snapshot' button 10 times should put the files in the same folder.

Hope this helps,

Robin
