Is there a way to name my flats?
Although I have a OSC camera, I sometimes change filters during a session, which means I need to take new flats.
It would be handy if I could name the flats with the filter I'm using to make it easier to match them up later on.
I don't use a filter wheel, so integration with a filter wheel isn't really what I'm looking for.

Re: Naming Flats
Hi
Yes, there is ... and it uses the manual filter wheel part of SharpCap without having an actual filter wheel. It's for lights but it also works for calibration files.
The filter wheel part I described here: viewtopic.php?t=4322. Each time you want a filter name in a filename, just use that.
The 2nd part is naming the files. Go to File - SharpCap Settings - Filenames. Under Extras, check the Append Filter Name.
Now if you have the Manual Filter enabled, the filter name will be part of the filename.

Thanks! I'll give a try next time I get out!
Re: Naming Flats
I've requested the ability to include a path and template filename for darks (and I think flats).
I always end up manually moving them, and renaming them to something that makes more sense (to me).
