Hi!
Polar alignment works great with Sharpcap.
You get the instruction to rotate the mount by 90°.
Would it be possible to build a second variant into Sharpcap, where only less, maybe 30° has to be rotated?
I am aware that the result will then not be quite as accurate.
Nevertheless, this would be very practical to align EQ platforms (as used for dobsonians).
Thanks and CS,
Mario

Re: Polar alignment with less than 90° rotation
It's already there.
There's a check box on the first or second screen in Polar Align that's called "Advanced" (or something like that) which allows less rotation.
Steve.
