Hello,
I am new to SharpCap, so new that I need some basic help.
I have had a Meade 10" LX 200 for 30+ years and am active on the LX200 forum. I therefore realize that this post must be repetitive for most of you and for that I apologize.
I have been suffering from focusing issues and SharpCap was recommended. I purchased a Rigel auto focuser and all seems to be working okay. I have installed SharpCap and have manually focused on a distant object and can see the image in SharpCap. The camera I have is a Meade LPI Advanced Lunar and Planetary camera.
I find the user manual intimidating and the Youtube videos not very helpful.
How do I start getting 'in focus' planetary images? If there are SharpCap users based in Israel and are prepared to help me, I will be very grateful.
