I was using the polar alignment feature in Windows 10 and recently had to get a new PC. When I use the polar alignment feature, the camera does not begin to take an exposure. I connect the camera first and then I cannot get it to work to begin the PA process.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

just to close off this thread - in an email discussion it turned out the exposure time was unintentionally set at a few milliseconds, so the exposure was very short (and only a black image was seen).
