Hi,
the solar colorization feature is in the 'FX' dropdown in the toolbar. This is because like the other 'display effects', it only affects the image as shown on screen and does not affect images saved to file.

Ok , it looks like the feature only work with the MONO8 color space.

Is there a way to customize the solar coloration? I'm using a mono camera and want to colorize the display a live solar image but would like to be able to set my own RGB values for the live view. Anyone know of a way to pull that off? Currently using SharpCap Pro 4.1

Hi,
no, the solar colorization is to a fixed range of colours that is roughly the same as those suggested on this web page : https://www.photographingspace.com/colo ... ar-images/
You do have a little adjustment available as the display stretch is applied after the colorization, so the display stretch can be used to make some subtle changes to the tones of the colorized image.
