Hi,
I am having the problem that my PLate solving is not working due to the fact that I have some hot pixels in my images.
I read that somewhere I can activate " Supress Hot Pixels "
Where do I find that feature ?
Thanks and regards Rainer

Hi Rainer
You can find that on the right hand side under Preprocessing. It's part of the Subtract Dark.
Click on the right of Browse and a dropdown menu appears with the Hot pixel removal only and a slider below it to adjust the sensitivity.

Re: Supress Hot Pixels
Hi,
yes, that's the best way if you are using a plate solver like Astap/Ansvr and having issues (using a dark frame will help too). For certain built in SharpCap functions like polar alignment and live stacking you will find a 'Suppress Hot Pixels' checkbox in the star detection settings, but this will not help you with plate solving.
cheers,
Robin
