Sensor Analisys report copied on the another Pc

#1

Post by tiziano »

Hi Robin,
a question,
I copied from my Computer to another Computer (under \ appdata \ roaming \ sharpcap \ SensorCharacteristics) the file created by 'Sensor Analys'
in my case 'QHY183C ~ RAW16.json'
but when I launch Smart Histogram on the second computer it doesn't I see the same results under the Smart Histrogram window ---> Result,
I put the same value in the 'e / pixel / s' field on the two computers,
I should see the same values on the two computers, instead they are different
is it correct not to see the same values?
I hope to be clear

Thanks
Tiziano

Hi Tiziano,

some things to check...

* Are all the camera settings the same between the two computers?

* are all the settings in the smart histogram brain window the same (ie read noise limit, min/max exposures, aim for, etc)

* look at the fourth graph along in the brain window - 'Sensor Data' - check that you are seeing the same graph in both - you can copy the data to the clipboard to verify that it is exactly the same.

If the last one doesn't show the same sensor data then maybe it is not picking up your copied file.

cheers,

Robin

Hi Robin
everything OK,
I didn't put the same parameters in the 'Capture Format and Area' window,
once I put the same parameters in the 'Smart Histogram' window the parameters are all the same on the two computers

Thanks and ciao
