Live Stacking from picture-folder (no camera)

#1

Post by elythomaslumber »

I'm using ASTROBERRY (Linux / KSTARS/EKOS/INDI) on a Raspberry Pi with a connected Astro-camera). Pictures are download from the Raspberry Pi to the PC immediately (via SyncThing).
Here on my PC I'm running "AstroLiveStacker" and "AstroToaster" which are listening on the picture folder and therefore I get my pictures stacked live.

Unfortunatly these SW are not as perfect as Sharpcap is doing it's job.

So my feature request is if it would be possible in future to do Live-Stacking without a connected camera to SharCap and just by listening to the picture folder?

Cheers

That’s already available.

Use the Folder Monitor camera.

Ah thanks! Could not find that in the manual. It works!

But finally I will stay with AstroToaster since it has more features for picture editing during live stacking.

However SharpCap is a great Tool!
