Hi
I was going to use these for plate solving and capture with a Sky travel 102. When I used them with my Celestron Reflector I could see the stars on the app. But now I cannot see anything, I have put a light to the top of the scope and the camera pics this up but then it is just a black screen, tried focusing using the scope but nothing.
Any help before I choose to try another product?
Thanks
Total noob!

Hi,
check that the exposure control for the camera is set to something longer than 1s (or as high as it will go if the maximum is less than 1s). To see stars you will need a few seconds exposure, particularly if they are a bit out of focus. Of course if you shine a much brighter light down the telescope then you will see brightness even if you have short exposures. You can also consider turning up the gain control - again this will brighten the image and help you see what is going on, even if all that you get to see to begin with is a dull grey disk of a very out-of-focus star...
cheers,
Robin
