Hi,
I suggest a new way (or as an option) :
click on 'Start Capture" would not open a window 'Configuring capture' but starts recording immediately !

Configuring the captures would have been done beforehand !
Generic name of the captures and capture style would be already set.
If doing multiple captures in succession without doing any change in configuration, the capture's name would simply be different by a dateTime prefix or suffix included.

Hi,

have you looked at the quick capture button in the toolbar? This basically does what you are asking, although you have to pick from one of the available choices of limit, rather than being completely free to say that you want to capture 327 frames each time...

I need to start unlimited captures, not captures with limited frames or time.

I manage today to program FlareCapture so it is working Ok with SharpCapture 4.0 as is ...

If you could add unlimited captures in quick captures it could answer my question ...

BTW I just uploaded this evening FlareCapture3, the first version of our software capable via hooks and GOES data of starting and stopping SharpCap captures when a flare of the level you like occurs on the Sun ! This process is unattended as long as the sky is clear, the Sun stays in the FOV and focus is correct !

I just watched the Youtube vid with SharpCap being controlled - very cool. I just added unlimited quick capture (a quick change as I hoped) - it will be in next week's update.
