You can either direct to an image that is uploaded somewhere else or you can post it here in the forum.
Direct it to a place outside the forum is preferred because space on the forum is limited. But if the image is small, lets say 400Kb, then you can post it here.
In the screenshot below you can see the 2 posting options.
The upper one directs to an external image, lets say on https://imgbb.com where you can upload images for free. When you press that button, you get this code [ img ]*[ /img ]. I typed a star where you can paste the direct URL to your image.
The lower one is to post attachments directly here like I did with the screenshot. You add the image and then press the button Place inline and a text line appears where your capture will be shown.
