Use 'Pixel Position / Click to Recentre' inside Live Stacking

Hi Robin,
we always got in touch with dithering a long time ago.
So I have a Celestron Nexstar mount, I use it in Altazimuth mode, the mount does not support the 'Pulse Guide via Ascom', so I ask you if it is possible to use the (beautiful) function 'Pixel Position/Click to Recentre' inside the 'Live Stack' process. , that it is performed automatically every certain time,
or if there is another way in Sharpcap to re-center the subject automatically.

Sorry for my English it's terrible

Thanks Tiziano

Hi Tiziano,

currently it wouldn't work correctly (even if you could make it happen), since the image that would get used for calculating position is the live stacked image (which hasn't moved), rather than the raw image from the camera (which has).

I do have this planned now - an option to periodically re-align the stack based on plate solving. There are a few other features (and a presentation for a conference) that I need to attend to first though!

cheers,

Robin

Hi Robin
Thanks for the quick response,
what you have planned, does it mean that we will see it in the next Sharpcap update?
would be great
