Usinglive stack to do a series run and ending with a single fits file is the norm but you can save each individual frame by ticking the box on livestack window. These default to mono and PNG files. Can you save each as a colour fits file

Hi,

the individual frames are saved in the 'preferred still file format', which can be changed on the saving page of the options.

It's most likely the saved files are in RAW format, which means they need debayer processing to turn them into colour - this is by design as there are a number of different debayer options that you could pick from 'quick and dirty' to 'slow and accurate'
