Hi Menno,
yes, reducing the dither amount will reduce the adjustment.
If you are using the dither only guiding then the pixel distance is actually used as the maximum number of arcseconds to move the mount when dithering.
With PHD2, remember that the pixel distance is in terms of guide camera pixels, not main camera pixels.
