Hi all,

I am a licensed user and want to delete all files, settings, preferences and start fresh.
I found that I made so many changes, abd can't get back to a fresh start.
Where are these files to delete them.

Thanks for any help!

I take it there is no way to delete settings/preferences or changes I made to test cameras, to start fresh with new version of sharpcap.

In general answers here are given rather quickly. It's a small community though and a small team, so sometimes it can take a bit longer.

Here are the steps to do for a complete uninstall:

1) Uninstall SharpCap via the normal way.
2) Check in Windows Explorer for C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\SharpCap and C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SharpCap and delete those maps.
3) Use Regedit and delete this: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AstroSharp Limited\SharpCap

This should give you the nice fresh feel you're looking for

If all you want to do is reset the settings for a camera, hold down the CTRL key while opening it, which stops SharpCap from reloading previous settings. That one is even in the FAQs (third one down) - see https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap-faqs
