Thanks for the answers. The Nexstar 4SE (which is a MAK) will have a much lower light gathering power than my C8 (which is an SCT and larger aperture), hence your higher exposure (and lower frame rate). The light gathering power (compared to the human eye) of the 4SE is 212x, for the 8SE is it 843x.

I think you would be best to practise Jupiter capture using the exposure of 30ms which has given you a frame rate of around 30fps. These were 18_58_36.cameraSettings: SER, RAW8, 640x480, gain=383 and brightness=0. I might be beneficial to drop the gain to around 300. The image quality will depend on atmospheric conditions. A 60s capture should give you just under 2000 frames, try stacking the best 30%.
