Hello
I have the asi224mc and it appears to connect via usb2. My computer supports usb 3. I have the cable. I was wondering why it only connects via usb2. Everything works fine. I was just curious. Thanks jim

I don't know your knowledge of computers, so maybe I am stating obvious things.
Most of the time PC still have both USB2 and USB3 ports. They are either marked with text or the USB3 ports have a bright blue visible part.
Also, what cable do you mean? The cable that came with the AS224 or one you got yourself?

Menno is right to point out that in order to connect via USB3, you must be using one of the USB3 ports on your computer (usually blue) and a USB3 cable. If possible try with a second USB3 cable, as sometimes these can be faulty (more often than the camera being faulty). Finally, I have seen a couple of cases where a faulty camera will only connect over USB2 - before you assume that this might be the case, you will need to test the camera with both a second cable and a second computer to rule out other problems.
