Live stack & Brain

Does the brain features can have the same interpretation when we only do EAA with live stack?
For example, the total number of exposures for a stack can be applied also to live stack?
And should i do the brightness measurement for the different channel? Dark, green, etc?

Hi,
yes, the brain can guide you on picking the right length of sub-exposures to use when doing EAA/Live Stacking. There is no real need to worry about the total time you are going to image for - it doesn't change the recommended gain/exposure values.
If your colour channels are very different brightnesses then you may want to measure the darkest of the 3 channels to optimize for that channel (the other brighter channels will be fine). On the other hand, if your target maybe has very little blue in it, you might decide to ignore the blue channel as not being very interesting to you and not worry about optimizing for the blue even if it is the darkest.
cheers,
Robin
