Sharpcap 4.0.7839.0 32 bit

Mount is greyed out
Mount is greyed out in 64 bit version as well plus numerous error messages.

I opened a new tab and the correct files downloaded

Cannot run either program in Administrator mode.
I don't understand why you would take away my freedom of running ALL these programs in Administrator mode

Right clicking on the program takes me to MORE which takes me to the program (executable file) location, instead of the option of running it in the former Administrator mode.

Neither the 32 bit nor the 64 bit of 4.7870.0 (Beta 4.0) , executed in Administrative mode, have the mount available. You don't even have a drop down menu which available in the previous version

I will stick to a non beta version and hope tat will work. I am puzzled that an Altair 183c TEC model is presenting issues with Sharpcap.

Hi Dan,

can you send a log and a screenshot please? I have just tested that version to make sure and I have no problems with the mount control or with missing drop downs (tested both with and without administrator).

Hi Robin:

I have reverted to using Sharpcap 3.2 32 bit. Only one of my laptops will support the 64 bit SC....Unfortunately the sequencing tools are not available in the 32 bit and the Sharpcap 4.0 betas seem even more problem prone than before.

Everything except sequencing is available in the SC 3.2 32 bit.

To run anything in Admin mode Shift+Right Click on the executable file or icon.

All this pertains to Altair 183c

I will try to get screenshots & log files to you.

Hi Robin:

I must have installed a beta version of SC 4.0 32 bit and 64 bit. Just installed and did a quick camera connection with the reluar DC 4.9 32 and 64 bit. They both show the mount without any error messages.

In a bit I will install DC 4.0 on the laptop which is connected to the Altair 183c.

SC 4.0 definitely looks good and I will use the 64 bit version

Hi Robin:

Just installed SC 4.0 32 and 64 bit versions. Sequencing is available in both as well as the mount/plate solving etc. With the 64 bit version I get a warning about AVX instruction set. I will be using FITS.

SC 4.0 looks very good especially with the Sequencing tools. By mistake, I must have downloaded an obsolete version of Beta 4.0

I don't anticipate any problems.
