I've been using the shipped sensor data for my Altair cameras when using the smart histogram and it seems to work absolutely fine, everytime I suggest this someone on the Altair group says that the shipped data should not be used and a sensor analysis should be run as all cameras are different . So my question is would there be any notable improvements as I say it looks fine to me.

my experience is that if you test multiple cameras of the same model then the difference between the sensor analysis data between them is very small – probably smaller than the random variations that you see if you test the same camera again and again. Based on that, there's no need to run your own analysis if there's one already installed with SharpCap. Of course some people love doing things like that, but it's not essential.
