Hey.

I just tried to plug in my altair GPC224C into sharpcap and its not detected at all.

Altair's own capture programme detects and can use the camera, its in the USB device list with no errors listed, I have tried it via a hub and direct, with altair capture open and not, lots of permutations but I cannot persuade sharpcap to even acknowledge its existence.

Any hints? I have been using backyard nikon with a D800E for a while but thought I would give the Altair a go, I guess I can use other capture software but sharpcap has a good rep so I would like to be able to use it.

Hi Ed,

are you using the purple version of that camera (USB2) or a different one? I have the purple USB2 version sat on my desk now was using it for testing so it should all work fine. Are you using the latest version of SharpCap or do you perhaps have an older version that might need updating?
