M82 Cigar Galaxy RGB + Duo Narrowband

A blend of a RGB capture shot a month and Duo Narrowband (H-Alpha + Beta and OIII) shot last night.
Was a bit of a battle with processing because I didn't notice I had my white balance wrong with capturing.

Ioptron CEM25EC mount, no guiding
Meade LX65 8” f/10 ACF OTA
Optec Lepus Standard 0.62x reducer
Baader Neodymium filter (RGB)
Optolong L-eNhance filter (Narrowband)
Zwo ASI385MC camera

Capture with SharpCap
RGB: 52 x 21.5 sec, gain 200 (of 600)
Narrowband: 48 x 90 sec, gain 220, 10 darks, no flats, manual dithering

Stacking: DeepSkyStacker, manually sorted the best frames

Processing in Photoshop: Curves and Levels, blend of RGB + Narrowband, layer adjustments, Saturation, Shadows/Highlights, Noise reduction.

Nice detail and colour Menno. Plenty going on in PS.

Menno, very nice. Where do you get all that good weather?

Have you tried NGC 4565 in Coma Berenices? It is a large, bright edge-on spiral galaxy with dust lanes. Lots of detail to gather with a long focal length scope like yours.

Don't know Brain, the astro gods like us here I guess But this coming week all clouded up according to clearoutside.com
But only 3 hours real capture time here now between dusk and dawn.
And checked on NGC 4565 and that is indeed full frame for me. Noted and thanks!
