I am very new to the Sharpcap Pro and I recently acquired a Losmandy G11 with a Stellarvue 130 and a 250mm guide scope set up with the Lacerta MGen guider. To test the polar alignment I temporarily swapped a ZWO 120mm-s camera for the Lacerta and was very pleased with the polar alignment process and results. I would prefer to use the MGen for guiding and swapping cameras is a pain requiring refocusing of the guide scope. I couldn't find any references in searches; can the Lacerta camera be used for polar alignment?
Thanks.

Hi,
SharpCap doesn't have any direct support for this camera, but if it has an Ascom driver or a direct show driver then you may be in with a chance. Which ever driver you use you would need to be able to set an exposure of about two seconds or more and ideally turn up the gain of the camera as well. You would need to check the manufacturer's website to see if they have Ascom or direct show drivers available.
Cheers, Robin
