Hi,

Thanks, "Deletion" 「削除」string.

I've been trying to figure out how to increase the line break width of the help text, and came to the following conclusion:
Line breaks in the HTML source code do not reflect the line breaks on the code side in the text, so to reflect the line breaks in the text, <br> (br tag) was inserted between the lines in the source.

As you can see on the right side of the image, this is the minimum line spacing required.

And,
The "Introduction" text is planned to be hierarchical.

Hi,

I believe the v4.0 user manual is initially created as a Word document (.docx) file, if you don't mind, could you provide me with the file?

As I mentioned before, our original plan was only to create a "CHM format", but we would like to create a "Web format" as well.

The image below is a sample created with "chmProcessor" by converting the translated CHM to DOCX, but the The converted state is flawed in that it does not reflect the entire original CHM.

Hi,

yes, I will provide the word document once I have the first draft complete, and a further update once I have corrected any errors and finished a second draft.

Hi,

I plan to edit the window definitions in the HTML Help Workshop and add "Advance" and "Home" buttons to the button bar so that I can quickly switch between text displays.

Hi,

just to let you know that a first draft of the new documentation is now available - see viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4172

I would not really recommend starting any translation work on this verison just yet - I still intend to make further updates and add some small areas that have been missed over then next couple of weeks. The current version is just a draft.

thanks,

Robin

Hi,

Thanks, and good job drafting the new document. :)

In addition to the new documentation in CHM and Web formats, we plan to create a third Web format using frame sources:

Hi,

When I link to "http://www.sharpcap.co.uk/downloads" in the "Installation and First Steps" document in the table of contents of the new "SharpCapUserManual.chm" document, it says "Oops! That page can't be found." Error message?
(Then click "Download" in the menu to get the correct view)

Hi,

thanks for pointing that out - I have fixed that problem on the server side, so that the bad link now redirects to the correct download page.

cheers,

Robin
