Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi Robin
Excuse me.
I don't understand the meaning of "Document text never appears on the right."
"Because the image is linked to the file location on your computer ..." That's right.
It is set to access image files as PC local.
"file: /// C: /SharpCap_Ja_HTML/SharpCapUserManual_files/image001.jpg"
In the SharpCap_Ja_HTML folder, set “SharpCapUserManual_Ja.chm” and “SharpCapUserManual_files” in the same directory.
Try placing it under C drive. (I tested it on my other PC, but I read the images normally.)
If the symptom still doesn't load, I'm sorry, I can't say anything.
Thank you Watanabe.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi,
Even with moving the files to the directory that you suggest and going to the properties of the ChM file and choosing the unblock option (which removes the warning on opening files downloaded from the Internet), the best I can get is this
I do wonder if it is because the files within the CHM file have Japanese names?
Any more ideas?
Thanks, Robin

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi Robin
Looks like each html file name is for Japanese?
I'm not sure if it can be solved. I would like to modify the file once.
Excuse me, please wait for a while.
Thank you Watanabe.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi Robin
Thank you for your patience. The file has been modified.
The contents of this folder will be sent with the following contents just in case.
・SharpCapUserManual_Ja.chm (Compiled help file)
・SharpCapUserManual_files (Image file)
・(.html) HTML Document file
・SharpCapUserManual_Ja.hhp (Project Files)
・toc-generated_J.hhc (Table of Contents Files)
・Index-generated.hhk (Index Files)・・・※In English
Decompress files other than the (_files) folder, which is a compressed folder.
Please access the URL below to download and set up.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aeGKx- ... sp=sharing
As before, place “SharpCapUserManual_Ja.chm” and “SharpCapUserManual_files”
in an empty folder and try it out. (Please try it if you open it as it is from within SharpCap_Ja_HTML.)
Thank you Watanabe.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi,
Thank you very much – I have downloaded and unzipped and the CHM file seems to work perfectly this time. I will try to work out how to make this easy for people to download and use and also how to put the HTML version onto the docs.sharpcap.co.uk website.
Thanks once again for taking the time to do this!

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi Robin
I was relieved to solve the problem.
I think it was good, but it was helpful.
If you have a good idea, please let me know.
This time, as you know the software name, edit the Japanese translation of “PHD2Guide_Help.chm”Currently working.
Forum staff, please continue to do your best.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi Robin
After that, I checked what I was concerned about.
It is about the cause of error display of “Can't reach this page”.
I searched the net and hit it, but it is a similar phenomenon.
However, this cannot be specified as this time, but please refer to it.
Japanese URL: https://dev.grapecity.co.jp/support/kb/ ... p?id=33083
English translation URL: https://translate.google.co.jp/translat ... id%3D33083
In summary,
“The name of the help file to be created should be only alphanumeric characters, not Japanese.”
This is consistent with my modification of the html file name to alphanumeric characters only.
In addition, access settings for SharpCapUserManual_files (image files) can be changed from "file: /// ..."
I tried multiple times in the resource editor to correct it to "mk: @MSITStore: ... (URI scheme)". What is the cause?
Unfortunately I couldn't fix it.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi
Change the access setting to SharpCapUserManual_files (image file) from "file: /// ....."
I abandoned the modification to "mk: @MSITStore: ..." (URI scheme), but after that I reviewed it
Place 345 PNG images (.png) and JPEG images (.jpg) individually in HTML document files (.html) and try again.
This method seems to be able to solve it.

Re: Questions about Japanese localization of SharpCapUserManual
Hi,
Does this mean that there is a new version of the CHM file that has the images embedded in it rather than separately?
Cheers, Robin

Hi Robin
All of the 344 PNG and JPEG image files in the existing SharpCapUserManual_files (image files)
Just cut and paste it into the SharpCap_Ja_HTML folder.
