Mike,
Yes, I have Ascom installed, along with the Meade generic driver for my scope
I use the latest version of Stellarium (no stellarium scope), scope is connected directly to stellarium through com port
I am just trying to connect Stellarium, and SC to my mount at once.
One other thing, I use the Meade LX200 mini control software to move my mount around, when I am viewing on SC.
Thanks
Curtis

Re: SharpCap and StellariumScope not working together
So I got to mess around with my telescope setup during the day.
I got both Stellarium and SC to connect to my mount at the same time
Just had to go back and read over Robin's (admin) post a few times.
1st......setup the Ascom Hub with my telescope driver.
2nd.....setup both the Stellarium and SC hardware to use the Ascom Hub, and then in the Hub (in each software) I set it to my telescope's driver.
Now when I open up both softwares, and connect to the mount, the Ascom Hub shows up in my notification window that it is running
Thanks Robin for the info. in your previous post here.

Re: SharpCap and StellariumScope not working together
Hello,
Asking a New question, But sorta the same.
I have a New mount now, I am using the Sky-Watcher Az-Gti mount.
I will be using the SynScan App Pro on my computer and connect to the mount using a USB cable.
My question is, How do I connect the SynScan App, Stellarium, and SharpCap all at once?
Do I still use the Ascom Device Hub? to connect Stellarium, and Sharpcap to the mount? And separately just connect the App to the mount?
Or do I connect each to the SynScan App? and not use the Device Hub?
My other mount is a Meade LX90 with AutoStar hand controller, So I would connect my USB to the hand controller, Do my initial alignment procedure through the HC, than connect Stellarium, and Sharpcap with the Ascom Device Hub, to do my Platesolving.
Thanks a lot
Curtis

Re: SharpCap and StellariumScope not working together
Hi,
use the ASCOM device hub - first select that in one of the applications, and inside the setup for device hub, choose the Synscan App as the actual telescope driver to use. Then, connect to ASCOM device hub from all applications - the device hub will enable the Synscan App driver to be shared between the various applications. Don't try to use Synscapp App ASCOM driver directly in any application. You *may* be able the use the virtual handset for the Syscan app (not sure about that - I use EQMOD myself...)
cheers,
Robin

Re: SharpCap and StellariumScope not working together
Robin,
Thanks, So the same procedure as I do for my Meade, except change Meade Generic driver to Synscan App in the device hub. And than connect to the programs as normal
Can I also connect the Synscan App to the mount at the same time, or will I have to disconnect to connect to the device hub?

Hi Curtis,
not sure about that last one, since I don't use the Synscan App - try it and see
