I've never tried plate solving but it would be helpful for my scope over 11ft both the ground on a pier and no practical way to use a finder scope. What I want to know is if I can do plate solving with the mount controlled using Skysafari Pro via wifi vs. through SC and the ASCOM driver for my Astro-Physics mount?

I'm afraid I have no experience of sky safari, so can't give any meaningful advice on this. Perhaps another SharpCap user has a similar setup and can comment.
