I'm only really just getting into DSO after dabbling for a year or so. There is a lot to learn - I find it much more difficult than planetary/lunar/solar work - so much time to get enough data - a whole evening or more. And I know - a) still not enough data and b) lots to learn in using PixInsight

These are my first real LRGB efforts.
All taken with Ascension 127mm Apo, ASI 1600MM-cool and matching ZWO LRGB filters. All @ 8 sec subs and either 256 or 512 subs per colour (sorry - lost the actual details). Just gives some hope to those who can only managed short subs

OK, so how do I get my images to show here? I was using the [ur l][/u r l] method - is this not correct?

I just copy the BBCode from the flicker share window and paste it to the message.

I was amazed at how much processing that took to get that level of detail - at least 3 iterations (something not mentioned in any tutorials or book on PI) of Pixinsight Colour Saturation tool - just shows I need more data.
