I've just implemented a Guide Scope to my imaging setup but the mount arm for it is NOT directly on top of the scope, but rather about 15 degrees to the right of vertical. To use the SharpCap Polar Alignment tool, how should the camera sensor be oriented into the guide scope? Should the camera sensor be oriented horizontally to be matched with the horizon, or tilted to match the angle that the guide scope is mounted (roughly 15 degrees)? Or maybe it doesn't matter?

Hi Mark,

As long as your guides go for is pointing in the same direction as the main scope (i.e. not offset by 15° from that pointing direction!) Then it doesn't matter at all how it is oriented in terms of looking along the axis of the main scope if it is directly up, or at 3 o'clock or at 9 o'clock.
