Platesolve OK, sync not (EQMOD)

Please help me troubleshoot my problem with SharpCap and EQASCOM/EQMOD.
Platesolves (AstroTortilla) are successful, but mount is not then recentered to the correct location, even though SC reports success. In at least one instance it seemed to apply the right correction, but in the opposite direction (this could be happening all the time, but I only specifically noticed it once). I’m using CdC planetarium software and that works just fine.
Have encountered this problem using EQMOD on multiple occasions and with 2 different mounts (Sirius EQ-G and Atlas EQ-G).
AstroTortilla works for me outside of SC, both with BackyardNikon and when manually providing image file captures.
Please advise as to procedure for me to use to test, and information to capture, so I can report back results. Would love to get this working!
